Follow the 155 students of Indonesian Robot Contest

Bandung: At least 155 students from 20 universities throughout Indonesia smart robot contest held at the Polytechnic Telkom, Bandung, West Java, on Sunday (15 / 5). There are two categories that are contested, the Indonesian Robot Contest or the KRI and Indonesia Smart Robot Contest (KRCI).

In KRCI, robots that competed required dribbled from midfield up to the goalposts. However, in action, not a lot of robots who can dribble. Robots that fall and immediately disqualified.

Chief Executive race, Iswahyudi Hidayat, said the robot soccer contest was the first time diperlombakan. He also hopes the contest is triggered students to be more creative in developing intelligent robot technology and cultivate komfetitif climate in the college environment.

One participant, Abdul Rahman, was pleased with the contest robot because it can re-hone his abilities. However, the expensive equipment in making intelligent robots become an obstacle for some participants. In addition, the problem of time is also a problem in the manufacturing process.
