KPK grills Today Andi Mallarangeng

Corruption Eradication Commission scheduled to inspect the Minister of Youth and Sports, Andi Mallarangeng, related to alleged bribery case of athlete development homestead SEA Games in Palembang, South Sumatra today, Tuesday (31/05/2011). The plan, Andi will come to the KPK building at around 9:30.

KPK spokesman Johan Budi said, Andi will be questioned as a witness. "Description Andi Mallarangeng as Menpora as a witness suspect WF (Secretary KEMENPORA, Wafid Muharam)," Johan said the KPK building in Jakarta on Monday (30/05/2011) night.

Budi said the KPK should check Andi to confirm a number of things. However, Johan not yet know exactly what will be asked to Andi KPK investigators. It is possible, says Johan, Democrats would be asked for information related to the bailout in KEMENPORA. "Logically, it could be asked for confirmation (about the bailout)," said Johan.

As reported earlier, the alleged bribery case originated from the arrest of homeless athletes Sesmenpora Wafid Muharam with Marketing Manager of PT Duta Graha Indah, Mohamad El Idris and former Marketing Director of PT Mindo Rosalina Manulang Children Affairs shortly after the alleged bribery transaction in the room Wafid, KEMENPORA office.

All three are later named as a suspect with evidence of bribery bribes in the form of a check worth Rp 3.2 billion.
