Finally Pertamax Prices Down

The owners of vehicles that use fuel nonsubsidized can breathe a little sigh of relief. Starting today at 00.00 pm, PT Pertamina lowered the price of fuel oil (BBM) without production subsidies, which is a type Pertamax and Pertamax Plus.

In Jakarta, for example, Pertamax price fell to Rp 8,900 per liter from Rp 9250 per liter. According to Vice President of Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero) Mochamad Harun, this price decline following the decline in world crude oil prices.

"The average gasoline price of 92 dollars or 95 dollars per barrel tend to come down so we do price adjustment," said Aaron, Monday (30/05/2011).

According to Aaron, this price reduction may help ease the consumer. That way, Pertamax consumption, especially when on leave together on Thursday (02/06/2011) will be increased quite significantly. "For sure this could be an incentive for consumers," he said.

As is known, on 16 May, PT Pertamina raised its fuel prices nonsubsidized, namely Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Pertamina Dex. Pertamina to raise prices Pertamax Rp 200 per liter to Rp 9250 per liter. Likewise with Pertamax Plus prices, which increased to Rp 9,500. Nonsubsidized skyrocketing fuel prices was triggered by rising crude oil prices.
